1877: Geronimo and his family are captured; Geronimo is jailed at San Carlos.
1878: Geronimo and a group of Apache flee San Carlos on April 4 and run to the mountains of Mexico.
1886: Finally surrenders to General Nelson A. Miles at Skeleton Canyon and is eventually sent to Florida.
1887: Sent to Mount Vernon Barracks in Alabama.
